Sunday 5 December

11am-5pm

Barn Church Hall, Kew

BROS ACADEMY is back! And we are really excited about our first in-person event for quite some time: A Day of Dance.
Put together by Jen Moorhead and our talented team of BROS choreographers, the day will be fun, informal, footloose and fancy free – it’s not a workshop where you need to impress anyone, it’s a pressure-free environment where you can come and move around. Pick and choose what you join in for, and dance your socks off all day if you want to!

The Dances

The dances revisit some of the favourites from our online Kitchen Dancing sessions during lockdown and include:
Back In The Room Where It Happens  – Sian Bowles-Bevan
The Prom – Gemma Melhuish
Le Jazz Hot – Rachel Williams
Show How Me You Burlesque – Karen Swift

The Plan

The day will run from 11am – 5pm, with four numbers and plenty of breaks in-between. You can come for the whole day, or just one dance, dip in and out – it’s entirely up to you.

Cost

Free for members and £5 for non-members.

If you aren’t a member, your £5 will cover as much or little of the day as you want to attend.

How to sign up

You will need to register to come by visiting our website.
Members – do check your membership status before you register as many of you have lapsed during the past year or so! Email membership@brostc.org if you’re not sure.
We’d encourage you to re-engage your membership as there will be more BROS Academy events to follow in the coming months and we do try to offer as many as possible free to members – plus we would appreciate your support after what has been a hugely difficult few years.
