LOVE AND PASSION: A love letter to musical theatre
Compiled and directed by Paul Madeley, the style of our February Hampton Hill show will be a musical review, showcasing what BROS does best.
The musicals will range from legit musical theatre to juke box pop musicals, and is an opportunity to create a wonderfully vibrant and entertaining production, with lots of chances for solos, duets, trios and some great dance numbers too, including songs from: 42nd Street, Finding Neverland, Into the Woods, Cabaret, Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder, The Scarlet Pimpernel, It Shoulda Been You, Anything Goes, Blood Brothers, Taboo and Mamma Mia!
The rehearsal will be a short period starting on Sunday 8th January and will accommodate anyone who is in Kipps who wishes to take part in this production as well. This will be a fun rehearsal process with the format being:
THURSDAYS: Calls for Solos, duets and trios
SUNDAYS: January 8th, 15th, 29th, February 5th, 12th
TIMES: 11am – 1pm Dance numbers with possible music in the other room, and 1.30-5pm staging group numbers.

Dance Call: 1.30 – 2.30pm for anyone wishing to take part in dance numbers in the show.
Music Call: 11am – 5pm (exact times TBC once we have all applications in)
Please choose one of the following pieces to sing or choose your own audition piece which shows you at your best*. (*If you do this please supply a backing track when you submit your audition form – mp3 file attached with your email is fine – and please bring it with you to auditions.)

When I Look at You – Scarlet Pimpernel – Alto/Soprano
Where’s the Girl – Scarlet Pimpernel – Bass/Baritone/Tenor
Anyone who is in Kipps and wants to take part we will liaise with the Kipps production team to ensure rehearsals do not clash.
BROS TC have an open audition and casting policy, and unless a particular characteristic is stated within the character descriptions, we welcome auditions from everyone, and actively encourage auditions from people currently underrepresented within amateur dramatics.
