Member Bio & Info
Sarah caught the acting bug early on, playing Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in high school, and since then has spent many an afternoon and evening learning lines, dance steps and songs to sate that hunger for
showing off treading the boards.
At University there were plenty of dramatic roles in plays such as The Crucible or Blood Wedding but these were always peppered with forays into the musical world with Godspell and Rats (panto version of the Pied Piper of Hamelin) so it is unsurprising that when her work brought her to South West London she was drawn to BROS and it’s welcoming members.
Whilst the call of the more dramatic can’t be quelled, and thankfully Teddington Theatre Club productions have provided an outlet for this angst, BROS has been a great team to be part of over the past 9 years, introducing her to new friends and the ‘slunge’!
In 2016 a new opportunity presented itself in joining a production team as Assistant Director for The Producers. Whilst she has no intention of binning the stage makeup just yet, there are more directorial projects in the offing and she may one day have the guts to lead a show herself. 2018 brought the fresh challenge of a Production Manager role for “High Society” at Richmond Theatre which she thoroughly relished.
