BROS Theatre Company has performed high quality shows for over 100 years. Initially the comedy of Gilbert and Sullivan dominated the repertoire, making way to the great musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein in the 1960s and onto the fabulous works of Cole Porter, Kander and Ebb and Stephen Sondheim, to name but a few. In recent years our shows have ranged widely from blockbusters to eclectic studio shows and new works.
Following the cancellation of It Shoulda Been You the BROS Committee have been working hard to try and figure out the best course of action. We didn’t want to see all the hard work by the cast and production team come to nothing and we know there were lots of people really looking forward to seeing the show.
As you will all be aware, the situation surrounding Coronavirus is changing on a daily basis. BROS are currently assessing how best we can prepare for the effect it may have on our production of It Shoulda Been You, running at Hampton Hill Theatre 24th-28th March
The nominations for the 2020 BROSCARS have been revealed, with 20 trophies up for grabs at the star-studded ceremony at the end of February. This year’s categories reflect a diverse range of talents, recognising great performances, effects and teams from our last four shows: A Class Act, High Society, Sister Act and Sweeney Todd.
