The Sound of Music, November 1979 The Sound of Music is a Broadway musical based on the book The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria von Trapp.

The famous soundtrack includes the songs "Edelweiss", "My Favorite Things", "Climb Every Mountain", "Do-Re-Mi", and "Sixteen Going On Seventeen".
