BROS formed a Glee club earlier in the year to give all our members the opportunity to sing regularly in a relaxed and social atmosphere! The idea was to get members and returning alumni together, outside of being in a show, to learn and develop their singing and musicality in a fun and bonding environment. It was also a chance to welcome new members and those who want to get to know us a little before auditioning for a show. We always break for tea/coffee and a chance to catch up!

Led by Nikki Gerrard, our very own Evita, in her professional capacity as a vocal coach, the Glee Club worked on a wide-ranging repertoire of songs from a diverse mix of genres, including musical theatre (obviously), but also American standards and rock and pop etc. focusing primarily on the vocals. You can find out more about Nikki here

Unfortunately for us, but not for her, Nikki has had to step down from leading the club after being cast in the professional tour of Calendar Girls! However, we do intend to continue with the Glee Club so that we have ready made entertainment for and can show case BROS’ talents at a variety of events and festivals in the Borough, as well as at our many social events throughout the year.

We intend to run a free session on Wednesday 19th September to prepare for the High Society Fundraising showcase on Saturday 22nd September. You can buy tickets for the fundraiser  here. Going forward we intend to run a couple of sessions in November (7th and 21st) to prepare something for the winter ball.
