Hampton Hill PlayhouseOverviewThe Hampton Hill playhouse (HHP) is a state-of-the-art purpose-built theatre with a 200 seat auditorium and a 50 seat studio theatre. Completed in December 1998, it is the culmination of the generosity of the individual, local and national benefactors - and in particular, the dedication of many of its Club Members. It is the home theatre of the Teddington Theatre Club. Getting there by Public TansportHampton Hill is served by its Fulwell train station, just 10 minutes walk from the theatre. Services run from London Waterloo (Southwest Trains) but are not as frequent as other lines. Please check times before setting out. Once out of the station, turn left and walk along the main road, passing at least one crossroads traffic lights. The theatre is on your left. Fulwell also contains a bus station, with several routes passing throuh or terminating. It's placed a little further from the theatre than the train station, so allow a little extra time. Getting there by CarFrom the A316, turn onto the A312 at Apex Corner. Turn left onto the A313 and then right at the High Street (A311). The theatre is about 200 yards on your left. Just beyond on your right there is a car park.

Minack TheatreOverviewThe theatre was the brainchild of Miss Rowena Cade, who lived at Minack Cottage. In 1929 a local village group of players had staged Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in a nearby meadow, repeating the production the next year. They decided that their next production would be The Tempest and Miss Cade offered the garden of her cottage as a suitable location, as it was beside the sea. Miss Cade and her gardener made a terrace and rough seating, hauling materials down from the cottage or up via the winding path from the beach below. In 1932, The Tempest was performed with the sea as a dramatic backdrop, to great success. Miss Cade resolved to improve the theatre, toiling hard over the course of the winter months each year throughout her life (with the help of Billy Rawlings and Charles Angove) so that others might perform each summer. Getting there by Public TansportA number of travel operators arrange trips to us.
Getting there by CarThe Minack Theatre and Visitor Centre are located at the extreme west of the UK, 20 minutes from the busy port and town of Penzance, 15 minutes from picturesque Mousehole, 10 minutes from Lands End, 30 minutes drive from St Ives, 60 minutes from Truro and Newquay and 90 minutes by road from the world famous EDEN PROJECT at Bodelva, St Austell. Follow the map to Porthcurno, at the seaward end of the valley go up the winding hill and the theatre entrance is on the left. Parking in the large car park is free

Richmond TheatreOverviewThe present Richmond Theatre in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a British Victorian theatre which opened on 18th September 1899 with a performance of As You Like It. It is one of the finest surviving examples of the work of theatre architect Frank Matcham, and is located on Little Green, adjacent to Richmond Green. Many shows either start or end their West End run with a week or two in Richmond Theatre. Getting there by Public TansportBy far the easiest method of getting to Richmond is by train (Southwest Trains), tube (District Line) or a multitude of busses (visit www.tfl.gov.uk for routes). Turn left out of the station and use the zebra crossing to cross the road. On the other side, you'll find an alleyway which will take you to near Richmond Green. Turn left at the left and the theatre is on your left. Getting there by CarThis is the harder option as parking is not very accessible in central Richmond. From coming over Richmond Bridge, turn left down the high street and after the traffic lights (and before the corner), turn left down a side road (it crosses a zebra crossing). There is a car park nearby on the left and Richmond Theatre sits opposite The Green. Alternatively, drive round The Green for spaces. If approaching from the A316, at the Richmond Roundabout, you will need to take the turning pointing to Twickenham Bridge. Take the first turning on the left. This will lead you to the Green.
